The South Carolina Department of Commerce and the Greenville Area Development Corporation announced that OpTek Systems Inc. will expand its fiber optic device and laser manufacturing facility in Greenville County. The new investment is expected to generate up to 20 new jobs over the next several years.

The South Carolina Department of Commerce, the Greenville Area Development Corporation (GADC) and Greenville-based Black Forest Container Systems LLC announces its relocation and expansion to 1186 Pendleton Street in the City of Greenville, South Carolina. As part of the organization’s strategic growth initiatives in North America, the company plans to add at least 10 jobs over the next three years.  New capital investment in the expanded operation is estimated at $1.5 million.

The South Carolina Department of Commerce and Oconee County today announced that U.S. Engine Valve Company will expand its operations in Oconee County. The company expects to invest $18 million over the next five years and create 10 new jobs.

The South Carolina Department of Commerce and Cherokee County today announced that Parkdale Mills will locate its new facility in Cherokee County. The company is purchasing the former Wellstone building and is expected to invest $45 million and will retain up to 145 jobs at the plant.
