Diesel emissions are a major cause of pollution in the Upstate and are a big reason why the area is close to not meeting strict EPA air quality standards. Maintaining “attainment” is crucial for economic development.
The event on July 28th will educate and inform local businesses and governments of how to retrofit on and off road vehicles to reduce diesel emissions. Just as importantly, it will inform those in attendance how to access money to do the retrofits.
