BMW Manufacturing Company
BMW's only production facility in the United States, and its first full manufacturing facility outside of Germany, is BMW Manufacturing Corp. in Spartanburg, S.C. Here is where all of the world's roadsters, coupes, and X5 Sports Activity Vehicles are created.
BMW Manufacturing Corp. builds Z4s and X5s in a 2.3 Million Square-foot plant that employs more than 4,300 associates. Since its construction in 1993, the plant has added a $600 million expansion to meet ever-increasing demands from over 100 countries.

The BMW Zentrum Museum is the 28,000 Square-foot visitors center that symbolizes BMW's heritage of engineering excellence and innovation, as well as BMW Manufacturing's role as an active corporate citizen.
The Zentrum is open 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday. To make preparations for the launch of the new BMW roadster, factory tours are temporarily unavailable. Tours will resume in the fall of 2002, by reservation only.
