Tri-Country Technical College
Dr. Ronnie L. Booth joined Tri-County Technical College as its third president in July, 2003. In two short years, he has built and dedicated the Anderson Oconee Pickens Economic Development Center, the first of its kind in the State, to provide training for new and expanding industries through the Center for Accelerated Technology Training. He also is pursing the establishment of satellite campuses to house new allied health and continuing education programs, as well as a Center for Entrepreneurship. In addition, he has led the College through an intensive strategic planning process and the creation of a long-range redevelopment master plan for the main campus.
Dr. Booth holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, a master's in Education in Student Personnel Services, and a Ph.D. in Higher Education Leadership and Policies from the University of South Carolina. He also holds a Master of Arts in Theological Studies from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.
He serves on the Anderson County Economic Development Board; the Anderson Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors; the Economic Development Board of Pickens County; the Pendleton Workforce Investment Board; the Anderson County Development Partnership Board; the Anderson/Clemson Alliance Board; the Senior Solutions Board; the Tri-County Young Life Committee; the Salvation Army of Anderson County Board, and the Upstate Alliance Board. He is also a member of the Anderson Rotary Club.
He is married to Sara Booth and they have two daughters, Ashley and Erin. They make their home in Liberty, SC.
