Highlighted Automotive Companies
	BMW Manufacturing employs over 7,000 people in Upstate SC to produce the X3 and X5 Sports Activity Vehicle and the X6 Sports Activity Coupe. To date, BMW has invested well over $4 billion in Upstate South Carolina.
	Michelin's presence in the Upstate started in 1973 with its first United States production location. Since then Michelin has established multiple Upstate locations, including its North American headquarters, research facility and test track.
	ZF, one of the 10 largest automotive suppliers worldwide, announced in 2010 that it would increase its presence in South Carolina by adding a $350 million manufacturing facility in the Upstate to produce fuel-efficient automatic transmissions for the passenger car and light truck market.
