This Thursday at 11:00 am, Governor Haley will be at the Spartanburg BMW plant "to participate in an economic development announcement."

According to Go Upstate, "a few paths BMW executives have alluded to during the past year include adding production of more vehicle models to the facility, increasing the plant's output, or bringing in engine production." 

Max Metcalf, BMW spokesperson, commented that the mystery surrounding the billboard on I-85 could be related to this economic development announcement that will be revealed on Thursday. 

The billboard located on I-85 near the BMW Zentrum teases with the text "WE MADE IT." alongside a picture of a tarp covering all but the wheels of what should be an automobile.
