Arizona State University President, Michael Crow, delivered a message to business leaders last month that echoes the work of the Upstate SC Alliance. "Competitiveness between two communities gets us nowhere", he said, calling on counties from Phoenix to Tucson to compete for new jobs — not against each other but with each other against other regions of the nation and the world.
