Contributor Campaign

Announcing The Upstate SC Alliance Contributor Campaign: Winner Receives an Apple iPad2®

Recruit a company or organization as a member of the Upstate SC Alliance and be entered into a drawing to win an Apple iPad2®.

Campaign Rules:
Upstate SC Alliance (UA) members who recruit at least one (1) member company or more during the period from January 25, 2012 through and including March 13, 2012 are eligible to be entered into a drawing for an Apple iPad2®. The drawing will be held on March 14, 2012 at the Upstate SC Alliance Annual Meeting.

You may also be entered into the drawing by upgrading YOUR company's UA membership level by $1,000 or more. Just call Richard at 864-283-2305 and let him know you wish to upgrade and you will be given an entry into the drawing.

Campaign Period:
The campaign runs from January 25, 2012 through and including 11:59 pm on March 13, 2012. Contributor pledge forms must be completed and submitted to the UA by this deadline.

Recruiting a New Contributor is Easy!
Reaching out and recruiting a new contributor is easy. Simply ask those you do business with, like a vendor, supplier, someone you share a building with, or even one of your own targets to do business with. Simply share your experience with the UA, the benefits you receive from your contribution, and the impact you have on job creation and capital investment in the Upstate.

The UA team is happy to help you "sell" by joining in on a meeting or call. Also, as a resource for you, check out the below links for a full list of UA benefits and our "case for support" (just in case you need a little help in closing the deal).

Our goal is to bring in 15 new contributors. This helps everyone as it helps our marketing efforts which results in new jobs for the Upstate.

How Do I Receive Credit for a New Contributor?
When your colleague or friend joins the UA based on your recommendation, you must let us know before the deadline. Once they communicate to you that they are going to join, they must fill out the UA pledge form found HERE and send it to us before the deadline. E-mail (rblackwell@upstatealliance.com), fax (864-283-2310), or mail the form to us.

It is incumbent upon you to notify Richard Blackwell (rblackwell@upstatealliance.com) each time you secure a new contributor. Send him an e-mail or give him a call (864-283-2305). Once we receive your notification AND their completed pledge form (both before the March 13th deadline), you will receive credit and your name will be entered into the drawing.

One more thing: for every new contributor you secure, your name will be put in the drawing that many times (i.e. secure three (3) new companies as contributors, your name will be entered three (3) times in the drawing). There is no maximum number of entries.

The Prize and Benefits:
One (1) winner of a brand new iPad2® to be determined at our Annual Meeting on March 14th. You must be present to win.

Everyone who successfully recruits just one (1) new member company will be publicized for their success AND your company's "elevator pitch" (50 words or less) will be published in a future newsletter. (FREE advertising!)
