The investment is expected to create 15 new jobs.

SPF is part of the Diana Group’s pet food division. Diana, which was acquired by Symrise AG in July 2014, is a world leader in natural functional solutions for the food, pet food, nutraceuticals, aquaculture and cosmetics industries. Created in 1990 as a division of Guyomarc’h Group and headquartered in Rueil-Malmaison, France, Diana is currently established in 23 countries and employs approximately 2,100 people worldwide. The group is structured around three divisions – pet food, food and nova – in order to enhance its fields of expertise and develop synergies between activities linked to the same markets.

The Greenwood County plant, located at 5300 Highway 25 North in Hodges, produces pet food flavor enhancers. The expansion will allow the company to meet growing customer demand and will be facilitated by an increase in machinery needed to manufacture new flavorants.

Hiring for the new positions is taking place in November, 2015. Those interested in applying may contact SPF human resources by fax at 864-374-4141. For more information on SPF North America, Inc., please visit www.spf-diana.com.
