ABOUT UPSTATE SC ALLIANCE

Formed in 2000, the Upstate South Carolina Alliance is a public/private regional economic development organization representing 10 counties in the northwest corner of South Carolina.

Our mission: to establish Upstate South Carolina as a unified and innovative economic region; market the Upstate for global business investment and talent attraction; foster public-private collaboration and regional relationships; and move ideas into action.

Our vision: a 10-county Upstate SC region where business thrives, and people can prosper through access to a diverse array of career opportunities.

We work as a team with the region’s local economic developers, investor organizations, and the SC Department of Commerce to move business forward in the Upstate.
