There are more than 575 international companies located in the Upstate, including Michelin, BMW, Bosch, ZF, Fujifilm, Toray, and Adidas. And, South Carolina ranks #1 for FDI jobs as a percent of total employment at 9.5%, with 170,900 workers employed as a result of international investment. We understand the needs of international companies, and our region has the resources to assist foreign-owned companies who seek to expand their operations to the U.S.

South Carolina also recognizes the value of exports to our economy. As the #1 exporter of completed passenger automobiles in the nation, and #1 exporter of tires for 10 consecutive years, we have the infrastructure and the resources to support companies that want to export their products to the world.
