GES Recycling establishes Upstate operations

GESCRAP, a multinational corporation engaged in metal recycling and other auxiliary services for the manufacturing industry, has established operations in Union County. Investing $6.3 million in the facility, the company is expected to generate 21 new jobs over the next five years.
Founded in 1994 and headquartered in Spain, GESCRAP strives to be a leader in the complete and sustainable recovery of waste materials. Serving the global industrial market, the company operates facilities across Europe, Asia and the Americas.
To establish its first facility in the Southeastern United States, GESCRAP constructed its Union County facility to house its GES Recycling operations.
