Hal Johnson named local developer of the year

The S.C. Economic Developers’ Association announced Hal Johnson, president and CEO of the Upstate S.C. Alliance, was named its Local Developer of the Year.

The award recognizes the work and dedication of local economic developers in South Carolina who have made a significant difference in communities.

“Hal’s vision and leadership have positioned the Upstate to successfully compete in today’s global market,” said George Wolfe, immediate past president of the association’s board of directors. “We are fortunate to have him on our team in South Carolina.”
