MAIREC, a Germany-based metals recycler, is establishing operations in Spartanburg County. The $4.6 million investment is expected to create 35 new jobs in Spartanburg, S.C. over the next five years.
Headquartered in Alzenau, Germany, MAIREC specializes in the recovery of high-valued rare metals from recycled goods which contain them. Expected to be fully operational by September 2015, hiring for the 35 positions is anticipated to begin in August 2015. At that time, those interested in joining the MAIREC team should contact Phillips Staffing in Greenville, S.C. More information about the company can be found at www.mairec.com.
