SMT Group opens technical sales office in Greenville

SMT Group, a Naperville, Ill.-headquartered global manufacturer of electromechanical subassemblies and components, has selected Greenville for a technical sales office location. 

 

With emphasis on vertical integration, the company utilizes a diverse range of manufacturing technologies for complete industrial turnkey product solutions. SMT GROUP has roots in the automotive industry with operations since 1989 for the manufacturing of precision insert molded fuel injectors.  

 

Located at One Research Drive at the Clemson University International Center for Automotive Research (CU-ICAR), the office will aid the company’s expansion within automotive, medical and consumer markets. SMT Group Director of Business Development Deric Frisch will lead the new office. 

 

The new technical sales office announcement comes as the company has expanded beyond its core manufacturing capabilities to become a Design & Engineering resource with vertically integrated manufacturing processes.
