$65.5 million investment will create 65 new jobs
Symrise Pet Food, a global leader in the pet food industry, today announced plans to expand operations in Greenwood County by building a new state-of-the-art facility. The company’s $65.5 million investment will create 65 new jobs.
Symrise Pet Food partners with pet food manufacturers to offer complete solutions covering three essential aspects of pet food through its expert brands: Pet Food Palatability with SPF, Pet Nutrition with Nutrios and Pet Food Protection with Videka (a joint venture with Kalsec®). With 1,500 employees in 31 sites around the world, Symrise Pet Food’s global presence allows the company to remain close to suppliers and customers. Additionally, Symrise Pet Food is part of the Taste, Nutrition & Health segment of the Symrise group, a global supplier of fragrances, flavors, food and cosmetic ingredients.
Located at 5300 Highway 25 North in Hodges, the facility serves as the company’s North American headquarters. The state-of-the-art facility will allow the company to meet increased demand and grow its powder palatant product lines.
