United Tool and Mold, Inc. expanding Pickens County operations

United Tool and Mold, Inc., a leading provider of new tooling projects, engineering changes and repair services for the plastics industry, is expanding its Pickens County manufacturing operations. The $11.1 million investment is projected to create 17 additional jobs.
 
The company has three locations across the Southeast, including operations in Duncan, S.C. and Easley, S.C. The Easley facility features the company’s main office and is a comprehensive provider of mold-servicing needs.
 
To accommodate its continued growth, United Tool and Mold is constructing a new, 60,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility in Pickens County Commerce Park. Those interested in joining the United Tool and Mold team should contact [email protected] for more information.
 
The Coordinating Council for Economic Development approved a $75,000 Set Aside grant to Pickens County to assist with the costs of building construction.
