BMW expanding with $1B investment, 800 more jobs

On Monday, the Upstate SC Alliance announced the selection of John Lummus as its new president and CEO. The announcement comes after a four-month search process begun in November 2013, after former CEO Hal Johnson announced his impending resignation.

Jennifer Miller, the Alliance vice president and an eight-year veteran of the organization, has served as interim CEO since the announcement of former Johnson’s resignation. Lummus begins serving in his new role with the Upstate SC Alliance on April 7, according to a statement released by the Alliance.
