The state’s three tire-making companies and the S.C. Chamber of Commerce have established the Tire Manufacturers’ Council.

The mission of the council, which includes Michelin North America, Bridgestone Americas and Continental Tire the Americas, will be to evaluate and propose policies relating to the manufacturing of tires in South Carolina.
