Limestone University
Limestone University is an accredited, independent, coeducational arts institution, and a non-denominational Christian university. Limestone’s residential campus is located in Gaffney, SC and its innovative Online Program reaches across the Globe, and also includes Student Service Centers across the state with service centers in Charleston, Columbia, Florence, and Greenville. Including its On-Campus, Online, and Graduate Studies Program students, Limestone is among the largest private universities in South Carolina with an enrollment of over 2,000 students. Founded in 1845, Limestone College officially changed its name to Limestone University in July of 2020.
A comprehensive university, Limestone’s wide-range of academic offerings are contained within its College of Business, College of Education and Health Professions, and College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
Limestone has emerged as a leader in the field of healthcare education. An articulation agreement with the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM) provides Limestone’s pre-medical students an opportunity to receive a Guaranteed Admissions Interview, as well as take part in an Early Admission Program. The University’s Nursing program now provides the RN-to-BSN completion curriculum to Registered Nurses who wish to earn the Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree, and additional Nursing degree programs are forthcoming.
Limestone’s growing Graduate Studies program currently offers a Master of Business Administration, an MBA concentration in Healthcare Administration, a Bachelor of Science In Health Informatics, and a Master of Social Work, while a Master of Athletic Training is on the horizon, along with others.
